Penn State’s annual career exploration program for students in grades 6 through 8 (middle school students) who are interested in veterinary medicine or biomedical sciences as their future careers.
Participants will have the opportunity to do hands on activities in laboratories under the guidance of faculty, post doctoral researchers and graduate students.
When: Saturday, November 6, 2021
Where:Penn State’s University Park campus, 101 Agricultural and Science Industries Building (ASI)
· Find out about exciting career options in the veterinary and biomedical fields through hands on laboratory activities.
· Participate in a panel discussion about career choices with undergraduate student role models.
· Attend an informative session over lunch to learn which high school courses to take in order to pursue veterinary and biomedical fields.
Program cost: $50 per student ($10 per parent/guardian) Registration is not complete until payment is received. Registration deadline is: November 1st Make checks payable to Penn State. You must complete a Campus Visit Acknowledgement form and bring it with you on the day of your visit. For registrants under the age of 18, the form must be signed by the parent/guardian who will accompany you
