Date to Accept Offers of Admission Extended to May 15

Penn State will extend its offer acceptance deadline from May 1 to May 15, 2024, for incoming first-year students enrolling in the summer or fall 2024 terms.

    Courtney Hogan is a 2015 International Politics alumna. She is currently the manager of grassroots and public policy for the National Confectioners Association. As a student, Courtney spent two summers interning for Congressman Mike Fitzpatrick (PA-8) and one summer working on his congressional campaign.  

    Paul Kirvan is a 1971 Speech Communications alumnus. He is an independent IT consultant, auditor, and writer. As a student, Paul was involved in New Student Orientation, Spring Week, Block S, and the Penn State Thespian Society.  

    Rachel-Paige Mumenthaler is a 2015 Economics and International Politics alumna with minors in Spanish and Business and the Liberal Arts. She is currently the vice president of PNC Bank’s technology finance group. As a student, Rachel-Paige was a Paterno Fellow and served as a legislative assistant for a state senator, as an intern at a State College startup called Surge Business Development, and as an investment banking analyst intern at PNC Bank. She completed research for her honors thesis, as well as a summer research trip to Africa. Rachel-Paige was a member of the Economics Association, Hedge Fund Club, Phi Mu sorority, Liberal Arts Envoys (now Liberal Arts Ambassadors), College Democrats, and Club Tennis. 

    Carolyn Pemberton is a 1983 Journalism alumna. She is currently a senior program manager at Consumer Federation of America. As a student, Carolyn was a member of the Kappa Kappa Gamma sorority and The Daily Collegian. She was also an orientation leader. 

    Lisa Strunk is a 2003 Economics alumna. She is currently a senior economist at Development Research Partners. As a student, Lisa completed economic demography research with David Shapiro, professor emeritus of economics. Their research included examining the linkages between educational attainment and women's fertility rate in Sub-Saharan Africa. Lisa was also a Lion Ambassador and a member of the Gamma Sigma Sigma service sorority. 

    Kevin Wulfhorst is a 1986 History and Russian alumnus. He is currently a supervisory intelligence analyst at the FBI. As a student, Kevin completed research for his senior thesis. He was also a member of Phi Alpha Theta history honor society, Delta Sigma Pi professional business fraternity, Lion Ambassadors, and Army ROTC.
