Date to Accept Offers of Admission Extended to May 15

Penn State will extend its offer acceptance deadline from May 1 to May 15, 2024, for incoming first-year students enrolling in the summer or fall 2024 terms.

    Interested in being a student-athlete in college? Join us for our Athletic Open House and learn about athletics at Penn State! 

    Our Athletic Open House is a great way for you to get to know Penn State New Kensington. Students and their families will have the opportunity to:

    • Hear from current student-athletes
    • Tour the campus and athletics facilities
    • Meet and have lunch with coaches and members of the Athletics staff
    There will also be information sessions on the admissions process, financial aid, and how our resources and support services aid in student-athlete success. Participants who have not yet applied for admission are eligible for a $65 application fee waiver.

    While you are here, attend an athletic event! Competing at home that day are: 

    Women's Basketball vs Villa Maria College at 1:00 p.m.
    Men's Basketball vs Penn State Shenango at 3:00 p.m.

    If you will be in the area on Friday, January 31, join us at 6 p.m. for dinner with current students and coaches!
    Dinner will be at the TownePlace Suites, 2785 Freeport Road, Pittsburgh, PA 15238

    A special room rate for this event has been secured at TownePlace Suites, Pittsburgh at $119 + tax.
