Nursing Virtual Information Session at Penn State Shenango

Nurses are needed now more than ever. If you have ever considered a career in health care, this may be the right time for you to make a difference in the world. 

Penn State Shenango is prepared to give you the tools needed to advance into the nursing field. The Bureau of Labor Statistics says that the employment of registered nurses is projected to grow much faster than average, with a median wage of $73,300. 

Our partnership with Sharon Regional School of Nursing benefits students through hospital-based nursing courses and college-level academics from two powerhouse nursing institutions. 

At the information session, future Penn Staters will: 

• Meet program faculty from Penn State and Sharon Regional School of Nursing. 
• Explore flexible pathways for freshman and transfer applicants: 
• Traditional 4-year B.S.N., or accelerated 2-year RN (with option to complete your B.S.N.). 
• Learn about scholarship opportunities and tuition savings.  
• Earn a $65 Penn State application fee waiver for attending.
