University Park College of Earth & Mineral Sciences Penn State Day

Join us at Penn State University Park for Penn State Day! This event is designed for high school seniors to visit and explore University Park. Students should register for the academic college that they have applied to, or plan to apply to. Please review the schedule of the event for the College of Earth & Mineral Sciences below: 

Check-in & Penn State Info Fair
Complimentary parking will be available near Beaver Stadium in Jordan East or Stadium West parking lots. Parking information will be sent 12 hours ahead of the event. You may walk to central campus, take the campus Blue Loop buses, or locate Undergraduate Admissions Shuttles at the Bryce Jordan Center Ticketing Office on Curtin Road. After arriving at the HUB in central campus to check-in, visit with university resources, explore the HUB, or ask questions to prepare for the rest of your day.

Join a Penn State Undergraduate Admissions counselor to learn more about the university, and the application process.

EMS Overview, Student Panels, and Department Tours
College overview with the Associate Dean for Undergraduate Education and current EMS undergraduate students.  Explore our science and engineering majors and the unique resources in the College of Earth and Mineral Sciences.

Afterwards participate in facility tours and departmental information sessions;
