Penn State Wilkes-Barre Penn State Days

Penn State Wilkes-Barre proudly offers the advantages of an intimate campus atmosphere combined with all the resources of a major research university. Established in 1916 and located on a scenic estate in northeastern Pennsylvania just nine miles from Wilkes-Barre, Penn State Wilkes-Barre is the oldest institution of higher learning in the Wyoming Valley. The campus' Commons building provides a friendly, casual atmosphere for conversation and relaxation.

Penn State Wilkes-Barre holds lectures, workshops, and presentations as well as noon-time programs with musicians, comedians and other entertainers. There is also a new athletics and recreation building with a large gym, regulation basketball court, three racquetball courts, a fitness center, and a multi-purpose room for aerobics, dance, and other activities.

Penn State Days are the open house events that will help provide you with valuable information on degree programs, the admission process, financial aid opportunities, and housing options.

While you might be interested in the Penn State Wilkes-Barre program, you should know that Penn State Day open house programs are offered at all 20 undergraduate campus locations across Pennsylvania.
