This information session is designed for talented performing arts students interested in learning more about Penn State's highly competitive BFA degrees in musical theatre and acting. These degrees educate and train talented, self-confident, collaborative, active, and knowledgeable contributors to the professional theatre. This session will allow you to learn about the admissions, pre-screen, and audition processes and tour one of our performance spaces. Hosted by our admissions professional, Shannon Ritter, we hope this comprehensive visit will answer all your questions when applying for the upcoming year.  The visit will be in 116 Theatre Building (THR).

Penn State's School of Theatre also offers a BFA in technical theatre, which includes stage management and design/technology (costume, lighting, scenic, sound and technical direction) as well as a BA in Theatre Studies.  For students interested in both theatre and another major at Penn State, our Bachelor of Arts degree in Theatre Studies allows students the flexibility to incorporate a theatre degree into their other intended area of study.

To schedule a visit for technical theatre or theatre studies, please complete this form and Kelly Praskovich (kjp137@psu.edu), director of enrollment, will be in contact.

If you are interested in an admissions information session and campus tour, please additionally register for this.

Registration is no longer available because the event has been cancelled.
