Transfer Student Admissions Virtual Information Session

Tuesday, May 28, 2024 at 7:00 PM until 8:00 PMEastern Daylight Time UTC -04:00

Looking to transfer to Penn State University Park? Join this Virtual Transfer Student Admissions Session to learn more about Penn State, the transfer application, and enrollment process. These sessions are for students who have graduated from high school or completed a GED and will have completed 18 or more credits of college coursework (after graduating high school or earning a GED) before starting at Penn State. Your visit will include an information session presented by an admissions counselor, as well as the opportunity to get your questions answered virtually!

Be sure to review the Transfer Requirements for your intended program prior to registering for your visit to determine your eligibility, as some programs are not available to transfer students.

    • Undergraduate Admissions encourages you to explore majors open to transfer students. At the link above you can search majors by area of interest, campus, and academic college.
    • Smeal College of Business, College of Engineering, and College of Information Sciences & Technology are among academic colleges that have strict transfer guidelines and enrollment controlled majors that prevent direct transfer to the University Park campus.

Note: This session does not cover a tour of campus, student panel nor have representation from financial aid, housing, or individual academic colleges. Please visit www.admissions.psu.edu/experience to register for events covering these additional topics.
