University Park College of Earth and Mineral Sciences Penn State Day

Join us at Penn State University Park for Penn State Day! This event is designed for high school seniors to visit and explore University Park. Students should register for the academic college that they have applied to, or plan to apply to. Please review the schedule of the event for the College of Earth and Mineral Sciences below: 

Check-in & Penn State Info Fair
Transportation from parking lots to central campus is provided. After check-in, participate in the info fair which will highlight important university resources. 

Admissions Information Session
Join a Penn State admissions counselor to learn more about the university and the application process. 

College of Earth and Mineral Sciences Information Session and Major Breakout Sessions
College overview with the Associate Dean for Undergraduate Education and current EMS undergraduate students. Explore our science and engineering majors and the unique resources in the College of Earth and Mineral Sciences. Afterwards, travel to the Deike Building, home of the College of Earth and Mineral Science, and learn more about our unique majors.

End of Day Activities
Central campus tours will depart on a continuous basis from the HUB, or feel free to explore campus on your own. Meet up with Penn State Tour Guides at the Sample Residence Hall Room (East Halls - Findlay Commons) and student staff at the Intramural Building to learn more about life on campus.
