Mining engineering deals with the discovery, extraction, and processing of minerals from the Earth. Graduates of the program work domestically or internationally to develop and operate mines or work in supporting activities including engineering consulting, banking, equipment development and supply, regulatory enforcement, and research. The curriculum is enhanced by field trips, conference travel, and industry speakers. Scholarships and internships are available internally and externally. This webinar will include discussions with our faculty and virtual lab tours.
