Plant Science and Landscape Contracting Alumni Panel

Monday, October 26, 2020 at 6:00 PM until 7:00 PMEastern Daylight Time UTC -04:00

Landscape Contracting is a hands-on, science-based education in plants and soils fused with design, technology, business, and practical engineering. Grads take leadership roles in landscape design-and-build companies or start and run successful businesses of their own.

Plant Science has world-renowned faculty, on-campus greenhouses, a plethora of laboratories, and thousands of acres of research farms where you can pursue your passion. But what’s really special is not how big it is, but how small. Faculty and staff put student needs first. And the facilities are truly unique in their proximity and accessibility.

Join alumni from the Landscape Contracting and Plant Science programs in the College of Agricultural Sciences for a panel discussion about how this program prepared them for a successful career!

    Alumni on the panel will:
    • Share their experience in the Landscape Contracting and Plant Science programs at Penn State
    • Share information on their professional journeys
    • Talk about their current professional experience
    • Take live questions from the audience
Alumni participating in the panel include:
    • Nettie Baugher, PLANT ‘17, Commercial Horticulture Area Agent
    • Evan Mascitti, Agronomy ’14, PhD Candidate in Soil Science
    • Dylan Schoemaker, PLANT ’20, Research Assistant at the University of Wisconsin-Madison
    • more alumni to be announced shortly
Our alumni look forward to connecting with you!
