Date to Accept Offers of Admission Extended to May 15

Penn State will extend its offer acceptance deadline from May 1 to May 15, 2024, for incoming first-year students enrolling in the summer or fall 2024 terms.

    Smeal College of Business Accepted Student Programs

    Accepted Student Programs at University Park are hosted by Undergraduate Admissions and the academic college to which you have received your offer of admission. With a variety of programs available during the week and on Saturdays, you have many options to learn more about the next steps in the admissions process, connect with current Penn State students, explore academic opportunities specific to your program, and experience life as a Penn Stater.

    Accepted Student Programs fill up quickly and registration is required. Log in with your MyPennState user id and password to register for a program.

    Program Options

    White Track Programs - Half Day

    White Track programs are half-day visits designed for students who may have been to campus for previous visits and are familiar with the Penn State experience. This track will feature an optional lunch in a dining commons, an Info Fair, Nittany Lion Next Steps with representatives from Undergraduate Admissions, Student Aid, and Housing, and an Academic College Information Session. Various facilities will be available to visit at the end of the day including a sample residence hall room in East Halls, the Intramural Building, and Beaver Stadium.

    Blue Track Programs - Full Day

    Blue Track programs are full-day visits designed for students who have never visited campus. This track will feature an Info Fair, Nittany Lion Next Steps with representatives from Undergraduate Admissions, Student Aid, and Housing, a walking tour of campus and lunch in a dining commons, and an Academic College Information Session. Various facilities will be available to visit at the end of the day including a sample residence hall room in East Halls, the Intramural Building, and Beaver Stadium.

    Saturday Programs - Full Day

    Saturday programs are large-scale full-day visits. This visit will feature Nittany Lion Next Steps with representatives from Undergraduate Admissions, Student Aid, and Housing, an Academic College Information Session, an Info Fair, and a student-only tailgate mixer. Various facilities will be available to visit at the end of the day including a sample residence hall room in East Halls and the Intramural Building.

    Schreyer Honors College Programs

    Applicants to the Schreyer Honors College will receive decisions by March 1. Please consider attending an Accepted Student Program in March or April, when the college will offer their program for accepted students.
